The foreign exchange (FX) is the world’s largest market, trading over $1 Trillion dollars (notionally) per day. Since this is such a large marketplace, a lot of the products are very liquid and provide great opportunities to place trades. Today, Tom Sosnoff and Tony Battista are joined by Pete Mulmat from the CME as they discuss the FX market and some possible plays. Pete describes a trade known as a risk reversal. By looking at the skew that is present in the options, you are able to get a sentiment of the underlying. The guys then look at a couple of different trades that you can place depending on your assumption of the currency!
